PREDRAG MARIĆ, ASSISTANT TO THE MINISTER

 

Assistant to the Minister – Predrag Marić

He was born on May 14th, 1964 in Smederevo where he completed his elementary and secondary education (Law and Administaration High school). He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade in 1990, Bachelor degree in Law.

 

He strated his career in the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia- in the Fire Protection Unit, in October, 1990. He was in charge of administrative and legal affairs and the control of transit of dangerous materials. From January 2003 until January 2005, he was a Chief of the Inspection and Supervision Department in the Fire Protection Unit. From January 1st 2005 he was appointed Head of the Fire Protection Unit, respectively the Directorate for Fire Protection and Rescue in the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia.

 

He completed the english course and recieved a Certificate of completion, and also completed a Multinational Crisis Management Course, NATO School, Oberammergau, Germany. He is the author of a book: „Explosive materials trade“, 1995 and the author of the Manual: „Administration and inspection supervision in the field of fire protection“, 1997.

 

He has been awarded several times for his work and in 2004 he received his first award on the occasion of the celebration of the Police day.

 

Since July 1st, 2006 he has been the Advisor to the Minister of Interior.

 

He has been appointed Assistent to the Minister of Interior- Head of the Directorate for Fire Protection and Rescue, at the Government’s session on May 17th, 2007.

 

 

DEJAN MATIĆ, ASSISTANT TO THE MINISTER

 

Assistant to the Minister – Dejan Matić

He was born on October 21st, 1960. in Lozovik, Municipality Velika Plana. He graduated from the Gymnasium in Smederevo and in 1984 he graduated at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.

 

From 1984 until 2004 he worked in the economic sector and since 1987 as the Head of the Financial and Accounting Affairs Department. In 1993 he was a Financial Director. Since 2004 he has been employed at the Ministry of Interior as the Head of the Common Affairs Directorate.

 

He has been appointed Assistant to the Minister of Interior- Head of the Sector for Finance, Human resources and Common Affairs, at the Government’s session on June 7th, 2007.
